There is no progress report from the last two weeks of my homemaking experiment. We’ve already firmly established that I am an “almoster”. So, with that in mind let’s move on with some more encouraging advice from Ms. Hoole:
“No one wants to be just an Almoster. Let’s continue our analysis by suggesting the qualities and characteristics which make an ideal homemaker.”
So, turning the page I am now on to: Faucet No. 4 “A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING—EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE“.
I should do well at this one—especially, considering the fact that I am writing this while sitting on top of last night’s pj’s that I’m obviously too lazy to move off of the computer chair. But I digress, according to Ms. Hoole:
“An ideal homemaker realizes that order must be the first law of her home.
With her home free from clutter and confusion,
maximum progress and accomplishment
may be enjoyed by family members. This helps bring about a tranquil atmosphere
which is a blessing to all.”
Maximum progress? Freedom from confusion? A blessing to us all?
For this to work I’m going to need a miracle.
