My friend recently asked me what I was supposed to be doing for the ambition facet. Well, it’s hard to define but here’s a few of Ms. Hoole’s kernels of knowledge on the subject:
“Someone once said, “Persistence-Energy-Power” and coined the word “PEP”.” (I’m not so sure about this…I checked the dictionary and Webster defines pep as energy or vigor…but whatever.)
“It is interesting to note as you observe ambitious people that the more one does, the more he is able to do because ENERGY GROWS WITH USE.”
“It takes a mighty discerning person to tell the difference between tiredness and laziness!”
So what am I doing? I’m doubling my efforts to keep moving, to do those tasks I keep wanting to put off until later, to seize the moment, to tell myself to just get the job done when I want to quit, to make my home a better place. Is it working? The jury’s still out and my progress report isn’t due until this weekend. So until later, I’m off to get some fabric ready for tomorrow.
