This week for $5 Friday I made our annual yard ghosts for Halloween.
Here’s how:
#1. Get a wire hanger and stretch it out. (Your hook should still be in tact at the top but now the body of the hanger is tall and skinny with a point at the end to stick into the ground.)
#2. Wrap some used grocery bags around the hook of the hanger. (This will make the head.)
#3. Cover the head and body with a white garbage sack.
#4. Tie a ribbon around the neck.
#5. Stick in the ground.
*NoTe: If you are opposed to the ghettoness of the garbage bags you can use flour sack dish cloths. I did this once but they wouldn’t wash clean and were more expensive than the garbage bags.
