I am a bit over this week, but I think it’s well worth it.
I am not a fan of tiny wreaths on doors. I think they look silly. Maybe some people feel the same way about my wreaths but I just like the look better of a wreath that actually fills the door frame. Isn’t that what they are supposed to do? (Maybe I am the crazy one….I’ll take it if I am)
BUT, if you are like me and like a wreath that fills the door, here is a fall wreath suggestion that cost me around $9 (I had one grapevine wreath…..so it might be a little more if you don’t have one on hand….sorry.(
USE TWO GRAPEVINE WREATHS AS THE BASE. Novel. Genius. And it totally works. I tried to put a picture of it…but blogger is freaking out. You will just have to imagine it. One wreath is an extra large size (almost the width of the door) and the other is the normal size (it barely fits inside the extra large size). You’ll just have to trust me, it works wonders.
Ok, buy your two grapevine wreaths, wire them together, and then decorate away. I added leaf and berry garlands that were on sale at Hobby Lobby (where the big grapevine came from too). Put a letter on some ribbon, (also Hobby Lobby), tied it to the top and then added a dollar store crow for Halloween, which I can take down for November.

I love it! I am a fan of both big wreaths and monograms-so I don’t think you’re nuts.
