The next big project at my house will be decorating my soon to be 6 year old’s bedroom.
He wants it to look like an “inventor room”.
At the local thrift store I found some inspiration—A Handy Andy Tool Kit (25 cents) and A How-To Book ($2.00). (Inspiration/ideas can come from all different places but I never fail to come away fed from 2 places—thrift stores and Disneyland. But, since it’s $5 Friday I’ll just stick to talking about my thrift store finds.)
I’ll use the wicked cool color scheme from the book for the colors in his room and I’m hoping to hang some sort of modular shelving on the walls and fill with items like the tool kit, the robot kits he already has, and some future unfound items…
I’m pretty excited to get started but before I do, I’ve got to go clean the bathrooms.
