I have been putting together a baby’s room and I thought that I would share some of my progress with you all. I am doing the room in turquoise and red (a new color obsession of mine lately) and since I was making the quilt and sheets (I’ll show you those soon) I searched and searched for a turquoise bed skirt for the crib. No such luck. So, I got creative with my staple gun.
I decided that I wanted a very simple flat skirt anyway, so I literally took out the wood piece, folded the corners to look pretty and stapled away. And when I want to change the color….I can simple pull out the staples and do it again.
I used one yard of Moda fabric…..which was right around $5 dollars….and I love it. So simple.
P.S. I really will iron it. Someday.
