Hey!
So I forgot it is $5 Friday today. It’s a holiday here in Utah and we’re on our way out the door—the boys to go fishing and me to go fabric shopping. But since we were gone last week…..
Here’s a quick $5 idea. I put it together just a few minutes ago. When I need a quick something to put on a plain T-shirt these pins are easy to whip up.
Supplies:
1. Scrap Fabric (For mine I used 3 different sizes of scrap.)
2. A Pin Back
Instructions:
1. To make each flower run you run a piece of scrap through your sewing machine. While it is feeding through the machine scrunch it up and keep turning it in a circle. When you have it in roughly the desired size pull it out and trim the edges. (The edges are raw—you can pull on them to fray the fabric.)
2. Hot glue the flowers together in the design you want. (I almost always stack mine.)
3. Hot glue the pin onto the back.
That’s it. And I’m off to search for fabric bargains!
