Gracie is two so technically she isn’t a baby anymore but I’ve been making these for her since she was born so I’ll keep calling them baby bracelets.
I snapped this picture of her wearing one of her bracelets while she was napping this afternoon. They are made from decorative elastic trim which you can find at almost any fabric store and a button. (I actually think I bought both the trim and button at Jo-Ann’s.)
To make them just measure your baby’s wrist and cut the elastic about 1/4 inch longer than the measurement. Next sew the trim together to make a circle. And then finally sew on your decorative button.
They are soft so they don’t irritate your baby’s skin and while they aren’t tight they are kind of tricky for your baby to pull off so they stay where you put them. Plus they are just plain cute.
