I entered my tulle ruffle skirt in the Studio 5 $5.00 challenge. Hannah wore it for Easter and will wear it again in an upcoming family wedding. I love it….and my favorite part was that it was so cheap! (or frugal…whichever you prefer).
Run to Walmart to get your own supplies….I used 4 yards of Walmart tulle at 97 cents per yard($3.88 total) and 16 inches of their broadcloth in the hot pink for the underskirt part which was 88 cents. The fabric total was $4.76 and the elastic for the waistband I already had. But if you don’t, pull the elastic out of an old skirt or pair of pants that are set for Goodwill.
I am thinking about a tutorial. Would that be useful?
Yes a tutorial would be awesome! that’s adorable.
My 5 year old is loving the skirt and begging for one so yes please do a tutorial.
yes please! Soooooo cute!
$5?!! Really? Wow! I love this skirt. I’m here from the Tatertots&Jello giveaway. 🙂 I think I would love making this skirt, so yes, I would definitely like a tutorial on that. Thank you!
Blessings!

That skirt is adorable!! Are you able to wash it on gentle cycle or does it require dry cleaning?
