I’m sure anyone could figure out how to make one of these but because I said we’d post instructions…
#1. Layout chosen fabric on top of your board.
#2. Cut the fabric to fit your board—allow yourself 2 extra inches on each side—enough to wrap it around and secure it on the back side.
#3. Attach the fabric by stapling it to the back side.
#4. Make your ruffle. (Should we post a step by step tutorial on ruffles?)
#5. Hot glue (yes, hot glue, the love of my life) the ruffle along the line where your two fabrics meet. (The ruffle covers up any raw material edges or jagged cutting lines.)
#6. Make your flowers for embellishments OR just find some silk flowers or some buttons or some doillies—whatever makes you happy.
#7. Hot glue embellishments where needed. (I used 3 fabric flowers made from scraps and a doillie.)
#8. Hang in desired location.
