This afternoon Simon and I hung up some springcicles. We actually made these in February but found them this afternoon when I was cleaning out the basement freezer.
I saw this idea in an issue of Family Fun. The project is supposed to be done during the winter and the colored icicles are to be color catchers. However, we didn’t hang ours until today.
That’s alright though, we had fun making them, rediscovering them, hanging them, and watching them slowly melt. We may even do it again during the summer and compare the meltage. I love kid projects like this—fun, cheap, and educational. I’ll never give up my subscription to that magazine!
