Elizabeth and I have both had a very busy summer. And while it has been full of adventure it has left us little time for leisure and crafting. Fortunately, however, some of our experiences have provided us with opportunities to gain insights and ideas for new projects.
One of my favorite stops this summer was in Mexico. There we shopped open markets and came home with lots of fun treasures. I think that my favorite purchase was a $3 Virgin Mary iconic wooden beaded bracelet.
Traveling around I also discovered a marvelous beverage—the virgin Mint Julep. A more refreshing beverage has never been concocted and my first encounter with this jewel was at, of all places, in New Orleans Square in Disneyland. I’ll tell you there has never been a more satisfying combination for me than that of a cold Mint Julep, my family, and Disneyland. That right there is heaven on earth.
But I digress….this is our crafting blog, not a travel blog. So here’s the point—posts have been nonexistent due to travel. More will be posted soon—-including new and fun ideas inspired from what we’ve gleaned during our all too short and crazy summer.
