Last week Season 4 of Project Run and Play started and the challenge was to remix Dana’s Circle Skirt. The contestants work proved to be a fun collection that included a variety of styles and fabrics including upcycled fabrics, summer tops, and even some frisky foxes. It was fun to see all of the unique styles.
But….the designers weren’t the only ones with creative ideas. The girls over in the sew along group made such clever clothing that we just wanted to share a few of their looks. (And I say a few because we had over 60 designs uploaded to the Project Run and Play Flicker Group! It was awesome!)
The women in this group have some mad skills and projects that included everything from dresses to shirts, pants, wraps, caplets, whatever! You name it, they made it—and all starting with the same pattern!
I love things like this—everyone sewing together, sharing ideas…it’s too fun….and I think you’ll enjoy seeing what all these ladies shared with us last week.
(I’ve linked to them underneath each collage so you can check out even more of their awesomeness.)
Pretty good group right?
I think so…but like I said earlier there are more…many more…and you can see them all HERE.
Plus you can head over to Project Run and Play to see who won last weeks challenge or to participate in the sew along group (which you can read more about in this post from the first day of this seasons competition.)
This week’s challenge is all about the sportswear so come on over and join in the fun…but then check in back here…we have some a few things up our sleeves for this week as well.
